Lorenzo’s Legacy is carried on through courageous living.

He showed us the meaning of love, life, and strength in his 12 days on earth and it is our honor to live in his name. All activities and events held as part of Lorenzo’s Legacy will honor life and the courageous act of healing.

**Ongoing NICU Projects**
Lorenzo lived his 12 days on earth in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). Most parents are lucky enough to never go inside or even wonder what goes on in this unit. But the truth is, once you know what is behind those doors, you can never go back. And we, along with far too many other parents, now know the truth that lies behind those doors.
To honor the lives of all NICU babies, we make scent bonding hearts and blankets to distribute to the hospitals we are partnered with.

Legacy Boxes for Lorenzo’s 1st Birthday - May 2022

We celebrated Lorenzo’s 1st Birthday by donating ‘Legacy Boxes’ to some of our partnering NICUs. These boxes included items for all those who find themselves in this unit - babies, families, doctors, nurses, and critical care staff. Included are scent bonding hearts, blankets, books, onesies, water bottles, pens, chapstick, and lotion and fresh baked goods!

‘Hoping into the NICU’ Easter Bags - April 2023

We donated 110 Easter bags for NICU families at 4 of our hospital partners. Each basket contained a book, security blanket, scent bonding heart set, snacks, and other items to support parents on their NICU journey.

NICU Awareness Month - September 2022

Throughout the month of September, we honored NICU Awareness Awareness Month by donating scent cloths and books! Our hope lives in each item bringing comfort and courage to all families who find themselves in the care of the NICU. We donated to 7 of our NICU hospital partners which included 438 scent bonding hearts and 55 books!

NICU Awareness Month - September 2023

We were able to donate over 200 scent bonding hearts, 26 Every Tiny Thing bundles, 65 books, and delicious custom cookies to 3 of our NJ NICU partners. We also donated 50 swaddles from Little Hometown to our NICU partners in PA and IL!
